Description
Double portrait in right profile of two members of the Vickers crew at Hill 210 in Korea, handling a 303 heavy machine gun. At left is 3/3346 Lance Corporal Robert Holman Gow, wearing a woollen beanie, and at right is 1/2072 Lance Corporal Roy Anderson wearing a beret.They were members of 1 Battalion, 28 Brigade, 1 Commonwealth Division, Royal Australian Regiment. The figure 3 before the stroke indicates that Gow was a regular soldier from Victoria, and the figure 1 before the stroke indicates that Anderson was a regular soldier from Queensland.
