Truckload of wounded RoKs
Description
By 1952, the conflict in Korea had reached a stalemate. Despite continued fighting, little territory was being lost or gained by either side. This drawing depicts a large truck carrying wounded soldiers from the Republic of Korea (or “RoKs”) moving swiftly down the road in Seoul, with civilian onlookers on each side. The armistice between the UN and the Communists was still more than a year away.
