Description

The Battle of Damascus was the final conflict in the Syria-Lebanon campaign, and ended on the 21 June 1941. This drawing is part of a series produced about the Syria Campaign of 1941. The campaign involved Australian troops, mostly from the 7th Division, fighting alongside allied troops against the Vichy French in Syria and Lebanon.
