Flying Officer Richard Overhue

Portrait depicting Flying Officer Richard F. Overhue, of the Royal Australian Air Force, relaxed, writing home in the Darwin bush outside his tent, with his feet propped on his improvised bathroom rigged on a pandamus palm. Flying Officer Overhue has carried out 26 bombardment missions on Timor, Dilli, Ambon and shipping in near waters in addition to numerous reconnaissance and patrol flights, Darwin.
