Field Sketching
Description
An Australian soldier is seated on a rock sketching another man in a German soldiers uniform. A third soldier stands with a gun slung over his left shoulder behind the artist observing the making of the sketch, he stands erect with a cigarette in his mouth and a right hand on the artists' left shoulder.
