Sun worshippers, Lake Eacham
Description
Depicts a man and a woman sun baking at Lake Eacham near Atherton in Queensland during the Second World War. Lake Eacham has been developed by the army for amenities of service personnel stationed on Atherton Tablelands. Extensive dressing facilities have been provided and personnel may indulge their tastes for swimming, boating, sunbathing etc. Units provide transport to enable their men and women to take advantage of the relaxation offered at the lakeside, Queensland.
