Smithfield Market, rocket bomb
Description
This drawing depicts the destruction of London's Smithfield Market, at the junction of Farringdon Road. A German V2 rocket has fallen on the area. Figures in the foreground carry out casualities. Buildings and a streetlight are broken and wrecked, while debris litters the scene.
