Description
Head of prisoner in German concentration camp. On 13 April 1978 Nolan stated that he had made this work in London approximately one month after visiting concentration camps in Germany. It was presented in memory of the artist's brother Raymond who was drowned in 1945 on returning from military service at the end of the Second World War.
