A.I.F embarking - loading guns
Description
A busy scene on the wharf at Port Tewfik as guns (with their trailers), trucks and stores are loaded into the holds of a modern freighter, SS Empire Orral. She appears to be a recent vessel, well equipped and armed (note the signal mast above the bridge). An unusual feature is that this vessel was flying the White Ensign, usually reserved for naval vessels, Suez, Egypt.
