The meeting of HMT "Queen Elizabeth" and "Queen Mary"
Description
Believed to be the first occasion that these two trans-Atlantic liners have met in service. HMT "Queen Elizabeth" (two funnels) is outward bound from Sydney after fitting out for troop carrying and HMT "Queen Mary" inward bound to embark troops, Sydney Heads.
