Avro Anson on coastal patrol, NSW
Description
This sketch was drawn whilst Frank Norton was flying on a sea patrol in an Avro Anson with 73 Squadron, RAAF. The squadron were protecting a convoy that were on anti-submarine duties. Seated at the wireless telegraphy table is the wireless aerial gunner, while the observer is going forward to check the wind drift.
