"Coastal patrol - The convoy"
Description
A convoy of merchant ships with naval escort as seen from 1700 feet. Sketch made from observer's seat in an Avro Anson from 73 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force, on escort duty. The plane is making one of it's last runs across the convoy before dark when it returned to its base at Nowra, New South Wales.
