The shipyard
Description
A panoramic view of the BHP shipyards at Whyalla, South Australia. The Whyalla shipyards can be seen behind a low lying rock lined breakwater, showing the 150 ton crane at the end of hte fitting out wharf. The sheds and construction cranes line each dock of the shipyard. Ragless had sketched this work on site and the drawing lincludes the partially erased colour notes to remind the artist about particular colours of the landscape.
