Description
2 New Zealand Expeditionary Force (NZEF), area near Chofu and Shimoniseki. This aerodrome was used for the training of Japanese kamikaze pilots during the later stages of the war. From here they would fly to southern Kyushu then to Okinawa or out to sea.
