Il ritorno dell'internato: "Hei! Mora dov'é la bloody acqua calda!?!" [The Return of the Internee: "Hey! Mora where is the bloody hot water!?!"]
Description
One of a series of three humorous cartoon sketches produced by Lamberto Yonna on his release from internment circa 1943-44. It shows guests sitting around a table at the conclusion of a formal dinner party. One of the male guests, seated at the end of the table, having finished his meal is shown leaving the table holding his plate and cutlery to approach a house maid positioned in the centre left of the image. The other guests look on in horror at his behavior. Beneath the image inscribed in black pen and ink is the caption which translates as 'The Return of the Internee: Hey! Mora where is the bloody hot water!?!'
