Refolding parachutes for Kai-Bombers
Description
The store of 43 Field Ordinance Depot, in which the parachutes for supply dropping are stored and refolded. Two long tables are used for each parachute, a broad one on which the actual folding is done and a narrower one to support the bucket and cords. Personnel depicted include Private R.N Carter (SX4709), folding in the centre, and Private C.M Bailely (S50830), back view at the end of the table.
