Description
Portrait of Lieutenant Colonel Richard Dowse, DSO, Assistant Adjutant and Quarter Master General, 4th Division AIF. One of the 12 portraits by Bell delivered to Australia House, London, June 1919. Dowse also served with B Company during the Boer War and served as Captain and Adjutant at the Maitland Camp from November 1900 until December 1900.
