Lieutenant Colonel Alfred Salisbury
Description
Portrait of Lieutenant Colonel Alfred George Salisbury (1885-1942), CMG, DSO and Bar, Commanding 50th Battalion, AIF. He was appointed Captain in the 9th Battalion and subsequently Commanding Officer of the 50th Battalion in 1916. His appointment with the AIF was terminated in 1919.
