Portrait of NFX262 Honorary Colonel (retired) Constance Amy Fall, OBE, RRC, FNM, (previously Matron, AANC). Fall was the first nurse to be appointed to the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS) at the outbreak of the Second World War and the first member of the Royal Australian Army Nursing Corps (RAANC) to be made an Honorary Colonel.
