Warrant Officer Class II Keith Payne
Description
Portrait of Warrant Officer Class II, Keith Payne VC. Payne received the Victoria Cross for his actions in Vietnam. Payne was part of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) and this portrait was painted at Duntroon in Canberra which is an army training facility for the Royal Military College. Payne is wearing a green beret with the US 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) flash, he has placed the metal cap badge of the Royal Australian Regiment over the flash.
