Airman in nose turret of Liberator
Description
This is the Emerson electrically operated power turret, fitted with two 0.5 inch Browning machine gun. In the sketch the airman can be seen through the sections of bullet resistant glass, which, together with sections of armour plate, protect the gunner and turret mechanism, Digri, India.
