A 'Jolly Green Giant', Quang Tri, August 67
Description
A United States Sikorsky HH-3E 'Jolly Green Giant' helicopter on the helipad at Quang Tri, Vietnam; figures of troops at right. The artist has used the familiar term 'Jolly Green Giant'. The black fibre-tipped pen has faded to brown and the brown to reddish brown as a result of exposure to light when previously mounted and displayed.
Identified as North American F-86F-25-NH Sabre, 13279 transferred to Korea 1955/56.
