Haifa Wharf
Description
Depicts camouflaged desert trailers that carry generators in Port Haifa, then Palestine, now Israel. In the middle foreground are the soldiers in charge of equipment. Drawn as part of the Syrian Campaign series. The campaign involved Australian troops, mostly from the 7th Division, fighting alongside allied troops against the Vichy French in Syria and Lebanon.
