The coast of Anzac, Gallipoli
Description
Depicts a view of the coast line at ANZAC Cove with vessels in the harbour. This work was created just weeks after the landing and it portrays the steep hills the soldiers had to attempt to overcome to reach the Turkish positions. It was drawn from HMS 'Manica'.
