Mediterranean sweep, HMAS "Hobart"
Description
HMAS "Hobart", 7th Cruiser Squadron - HMS "Ajax" (Flagship), HMAS "Hobart" and HMS "Neptune" with destroyer screen at sea during a routine sweep of Eastern Mediterranean waters. Vessels in their "Zig-Zag" have just altered course and are crossing each others wakes. Aircraft and catapult on "Hobart" have been replaced by pom-pom guns. Crane remains for hoisting ships boats, Mediterranean Sea.
