Description
1905; three men from troop of NSWMR firing rifles from behind log, fourth member of troop is acting as horse holder in the left middle ground, members of another troop are visible in background (Mounted Rifles, Mounted Infantry, Light Horsemen, etc, rode their horses to the scene of the action, dismounted and fought on foot as ordinary infantry), NSWMR wear plumes of black cockerel in their hats
