Description
Stonehenge is silhouetted against a sunset sky. Major Edwin Summerhayes, originally an architect in Perth, Western Australia, served with the 44th Battalion on the Western Front. The 44th Battalion encamped on Salisbury Plain July - November 1916 prior to being sent to the Western Front.
