Brigade refilling point
Description
Regimental transport ration limbers loading at a brigade refilling point, Beersheba, while others, having filled, are moving along the road in the bed of the wady to their squadron areas. This is seventh in a series of eight paintings accompanying the Palestine dioramas. The series illustrates the Egyptian Labour Corps and the Camel Transport Corps transporting supplies (food, water, clothing and medical supplies) from Deir el Belah on the Mediterranean coast of Palestine through the desert to the troops in battle.
