Study for looking towards Anzac Cove
Description
This work captures the profile of the Sphinx, one of the most distinctive landmarks at Gallipoli that looks towards the sea. It was known to the troops during the First World War by various other names including the Knife Edge and the Cathedral before it was entered on a map as the Sphinx. It is a view of the Sphinx 75 years after the landing.
