WACS arrive in Australia (News From Home. No. 91)
Description
Extract from News From Home newsreel No. 91. First WACS to come to the SWPA arrive in Sydney. The American was perform the same range of duties as the AWAS. WACS featured are: Lieutenant Elizabeth Browning of New York, Sergeant (Sgt) Dixie M. Ecceles of Albuqueque New Mexico, Sgt Caley Phillips of North Carolina and Corporal Mary Welsh of Vincennes Indianna.
