Assault bridging
Description
Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC) training film C16 B54 demonstrating the Assault Bridge using kapok bridging material. This is a silent film using sub-titles to support visuals. Shown: number of men required (a company); the duties of each platoon in the construction of the bridge; kapok-filled rafts clamped together with duckboards to form a foot bridge for assault troops.
