WAAAF parade at Melbourne University
Description
Melbourne University, Melbourne VIC, 15 November 1942. Coverage of the parade by 2,500 women of the Women's Auxilary Australian Air Force (WAAAF). Lady Zara Gowrie Air Commandant took the salute. Group Officer Claire Stevenson Director of WAAAF and Squadron Officer M Miller, Deputy Director stood with Lady Zara Gowrie at the saluting base. Flight Officer Margaret Blackwood organised the parade.
