Description
Amateur filmmaker's coverage of a Women's Auxilary Australian Air Force (WAAAF) passing out parade at Somers, (Mornington Peninsula,) Victoria, during the WW2 period. The colour film shows the unit parading for Wing Commander N. Mulroney, Commanding Officer (RAAF); his inspection, the Commander chatting with WAAAF members and the group being photographed by a Herald Newspaper photographer. The second sequence of the film shows the unit performing training exercises on the beach, including rowing and unarmed combat.
