Group portrait of Australian Flying Corps (AFC) participants in the officers’ training course, Officers Training College, Queens College, Oxford. This group included the first Australians taken from the ranks to be commissioned as flying officers. Many initially served with Light Horse regiments before transferring to the AFC.
