Sapper E A Hayne, 2/4 Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers, examining the wreckage of a japanese baby car found on the Vasey Highway during the OBOE 2 Operation. Note on the left at the rear of the car are Bangalore torpedoes which were lengths of steel piping filled with ezplosives to be pushed under wire entanglements and exploded.
