Detail photograph of the forward superstructure and foremast of the battleship HMS King George V showing the ships forward fire control equipment. Abaft and above the bridge is the main armament's director control tower surmounted by its Type 275 fire control radar. The secondary armament directors with their Type 285 fire control radards are mounted on sponsons port and starboard and trained outwards. Below them are tubs for pom pom directors for the two pounder anti aircraft mountings. They are fitted with Type 282 fire control radar. Part of two pounder pom pom can be seen at the bottom left. The photograph was taken from HMAS Nepal.
