Description
Members of the 2/4th Armoured Regiment helping to clear wreckage of a derailed train between Murgon and Caboolture, Qld. The train was carrying the Regiment to Caboolture for combined operations training with United States troops when it derailed on the night of 12 March, 1943. NX118136 Trooper William Bedford Nankervis was killed in the derailment, and four other servicemen were injured.
