Front row: 3904 Pte Algernon Sidney (Alf) Wilde from Darlinghurst, NSW; 3857 Pte Ernest William James (Ernie) Northrop from Surry Hills, NSW and 3890 Pte Wallace Harry (Wally) Sales from Auburn, NSW (later killed in action in France on 8 August 1918).
