Informal outdoor portrait of NX14598 Sergeant (Sgt) Robert Samuel Fulton, 2/5 Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers. Formerly from Crows Nest, NSW, Sgt Fulton was wounded in action in Syria and, on 9 July 1941, aged 36, he died as a result of his wounds and was buried in the Beirut War Cemetery, Lebanon.
