Bruce Heathcote interviewed by Georgina Binns for her Project : Music of the Boer War and First World War
Description
Bruce Heathcote interviewed by Georgina Binns at the War Veteran's Home in Myrtle bank, South Australia. Bruce enlisted under age and had to wait in Australia for a year before he embarked on HMAS Ballarat in 1916 which was torpedoed and he had to change ships. Bruce recalls attending concert parties in France and men playing women in the concert.
