Studio portrait of 402355 Pilot Officer (PO) John Read Horn RAAF, 405 Squadron RCAF. PO Horn enlisted for service in the RAAF on 19 August 1940 and, after completing his initial training, was attached to 405 Squadron RCAF. He was killed on operations over Germany on 2 August 1941, aged 24 years.
