Description
Loaded and ready to fire with a belt of ammunition, a 7.62mm GPMG M60 machine gun points outward from between sandbags at a defensive post of B Company, 2RAR/NZ, on the perimeter of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base. The weapon looks out to barbed wire fences and young, sparsely-planted rubber trees, with an open area beyond them in the background.
