Corporal (CPL) Christopher John Donovan of Security Detachment (SECDET). CPL Donovan's complete set of kit from his posting to the Al Muthanna Task Group (AMTG) in 2005 is on display at the Australian War Memorial's Conflicts 1945 to Today galleries. One of a series of photographs taken in the Middle East Area of Operations (MEAO) by Mal Booth, Head of the Australian War Memorial's Research Centre, as part of the Memorial's Curators in the Field program. This program continues the Memorial's tradition of documenting Australia's experience of war, through observing the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and collecting records, photographs, oral histories and objects for the Memorial's National Collection.
