Studio portrait of 39523 Private (Pte) Richard Theodore Collie Murray. A grazier prior to enlistment, Pte Murray embarked with the 34th Reinforcements from Sydney aboard SS Port Darwin on 30 April 1918. He returned to Australia on 19 August 1918 and is the brother to 6772 Private (Pte) Horace Edward Murray who was killed in action in France on 11 April 1917.
