Careful hands lift this Australian casualty aboard a RAAF Hercules at Saigon Airport. The RAAF is providing a regular Hercules courier from Richmond, NSW to Vietnam and will evacuate Army casualties from Bien Hoa, where Australian troops are stationed, and sick and wounded soldiers from Saigon. RAAF Medical Orderly, 3716 Sergeant (Sgt) Donald Keith (Don) Percy, of Arncliffe, NSW, will travel with the patient, and a RAAF nursing sister on board will provided medical care during the flight if necessary.
