Portrait of VX912 Captain (Capt) Crawford Derek Mollison, 2/12 Field Regiment, of Melbourne, Victoria. Capt Mollison enlised on 4 November 1939 and served in Australia and overseas with the 2/12 Australian Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery. He served in the Middle East and New Guinea and arrived back in Australia on the 17 December 1943. Two days later he was killed in a aircraft accident in North Queensland on 19 December 1943, aged 39.
