Moleskin sketchbook- Afghanistan
Third of three sketchbooks of drawings of the locations, activities and role of Australians, as well as other members of the multi-national forces in Afghanistan, by Stephen Delaney. The sketchbook contains a number of drawings executed in black graphite, some with additional burnt sienna. The sketchbook contains a number of drawings executed in black graphite, some with additional burnt sienna. The sketchbook has a cardboard cover with a camouflage soldier figure cut out on the cover. The sketchbook is centre stitch bound and the words 'MOLESKIN' are embossed on the back cover. Stephen Delaney (1954-) is a Canadian Army Reservist and his regiment is the Governor General's Foot Guards in Ottawa. He has completed two tours of Afghanistan; in 2006 and 2010. Delaney has also trained as an artist at the Ottowa School of Art and Emily Carr University in Canada.
