Description
The inside front cover has sequence of numbers which consist of '8T5947 - 9mm' (the artist's pistol number); '89AA 045 72' (the artist's C7 rifle (M16 rifle)); and several sequences of numbers and letters which are mobile phone numbers and relate to his role with ISAF (International Security Assistance Force). Inside the back flap of Sketchbook 1 is a beer bottle label; 'Premium Spitfire Kentish Ale', with the text 'Malta/ souvenir' written on the verso in blue biro.
