Group portrait of air and ground crew of 88 Squadron, RAF, seated on and in front of a Boston aircraft, at Vitry-en-Artois Airfield. This image is from the collection of 423254 Flying Officer George Edward Pearse, RAAF. Pearse enlisted as a Leading Aircraftman on 20 June 1942 and trained at No. 8 Bombing and Gunnery School, Royal Canadian Air Force, Lethbridge, Canada in 1943. He went on to serve as a Flying Officer with 88 Squadron, RAF.
