Identified back row, left to right: Gary Weldon; Sergeant H J (Speedie) Sahariv; Roger McDonald; John (Nick) Rowell; Leading Aircraftman Leon D Senior and Flight Lieutenant David V Foote. Front row, left to right: Corporal Joseph A Zammit-Ross; Lee Bowers; Flight Lieutenant Denis B Smedley and Lance Corporal Ernest M. Hawley. The radio station was operated by the RAAF and broadcasted to all Australian forces in Phuoc Tuy Province, providing Australians on active duty with news, sporting broadcasts and other reports from Australia.
